The “treehouse” is a one-of-a kind custom design vacation home and guesthouse located on Kiawah Island. The lot presented many challenges, the biggest being a 24” live oak who’s canopy covers 40% of the buildable area.

The focus of the design was to integrate the home into its surroundings in a way that captures the spectacular views of the golf course, lagoon and river while taking advantage of the beauty and shade the live oak has to offer.
